Caramota, Steven A. "The Fiscal and Economic Impact of Immigration on the United States."Center for Immigration Studies. CIS, May 2013. Web. 29 Mar. 2016.
In Caramota's research, he divulges into the Fiscal and Economic impacts of immigration and gives hard facts and data to explain the affects. Caramota's purpose for writing is to not pick sides but to come at the issue on the impacts of immigration through a more statistical point of view. His research offers both sides to the argument and gives a detailed explanation on why or how such affects take place. His focus is primarily on size of the economy, wages and employment, and native losses. On top of his research on this topic, Caramota also explains the counter claims and tries to disprove them through his research. Overall this research article is good for exposing one to the issues on immigration without forcing a side.

Peri discusses the investments and Educational composition that the immigrants bring with them to see differences and similarities between different groups among the immigrants. His work is focused on proving that there are a wide variety of benefits from immigrants, but it is expanded by the idea that all immigrants are not the same. His claims are backed up studies, experiments, interviews, and investigations he did on various immigrants. The article has a lot of information regarding immigration specifically with the economy and arguments are given on what reforms need to take place.

Rodriguez, Abdel. "Social Work with Immigrants and Refugees, Second Edition."Google Books. Springer Publishing Company, 2015. Web. 29 Mar. 2016.
In Rodriquez's published worked he focus's on the consequences of immigration. In chapter 7 He starts off with explaining the grounds for which his work is defined. He explains the legal issues on which consequences are based and then explains how they impact the way immigrants make decisions. Then from their in chapter 8 he moves on to discussing immigrants and employment with respect to the law. So basically his work is good foundation on which to build an argument and chose a side. He defines and explains the actions of immigrants which then may help in aiding one to pick a side to support while giving background information on the topic.

Ruark, Eric A. "Immigration Issues."The Harmful Effects of Unskilled Immigrants on American Workers. Federation for American Immigration Reform, May 2011. Web. 29 Mar. 2016.
The work by Ruark is a culmination of many issues regarding immigration. He covers the issues with illegal immigration, legal immigration, national security, border security, labor and economics, and population and environment. His belief is that today’s immigration system is dysfunctional because it is not responsive to the socioeconomic conditions of the country. Only a small share of legally admitted immigrants are sponsored by employers while the bulk are admitted because of family ties to earlier immigrants who may be living in poverty or near poverty. His findings and theories are good for background on all the aspects affected by immigrants and make a good argument for against immigration.

Vaughan, Jessica. "Immigration and Crime: Assessing a Conflicted Issue."Center for Immigration Studies. CIS, Nov. 2009. Web. 29 Mar. 2016.
This study by Vaughan examines academic and government research on the question of immigrant crime. New government data indicate that immigrants have high rates of criminality, while older academic research found low rates. The overall picture of immigrants and crime remains confused due to a lack of good data and contrary information. Vaughan attacks this issue by giving a large amount of fact and data based claims in which she chooses no sides. She displays her findings on immigrant criminality in the context of race, age, and sex in way that lets the readers decide for themselves on what to believe. On top of that she goes into the problems with contrary information and how that information is found in order to increase the credibility of her own work.
